I’ve had this idea for a personal project (details of which I’m not ready to disclose) for sometime now but its been stalled. Last night I decided to take out my principal model for a test shoot and we got some pretty sweet pictures that I’m proud of. Enjoy.

Studio Photography is something I’ve always wanted to get into but have not been able to because of lack of space. Well, recently I discovered The Sopha, an awesome co-op studio for photographers. They have two fully-equipped studios, awesome staff, and classes to boot! This past weekend I became a member and took a class on studio lighting. One best things about the class is that we were provided with our very own model to work with. She was gorgeous (as you’ll see below), talented, and a pleasure to work with. Here are my favorite shots.

A friend of mine, Matt Mercier, asked me to come and take pictures of his little gang of barbershop singers. So after a fun evening listening to them practice and me firing off my flash in their eyes I ended up with a nice set of portraits. I decided to go one step further and design a little something extra for them.
